Ponzi Laurelwood Pinot Noir

2023 Ponzi Laurelwood Pinot Noir - 94 pts JS / 93 pts WA / 92 pts WS
The fruit was hand sorted with 1-% whole cluster fermented and 90% destemmed. Fermented in small lots with five days of cold soak to increase aroma and color, the peak temperatures reached 90F. The fermenters were aerated or manually punched down twice a day for approximately 18 days. This wine was aged in French oak barrels (30% new) for 10 months.  It was racked and bottled by gravity before release.
