It conjures dark fruit such as plum and blackberry with notes of pepper, violets and exotic spices, along with a hint of nutmeg. It has a delightful freshness on the palate
medium-bodied wine is nice and smooth, with silky tannins and crisp acidity. The wine’s aromas of blackberries, Italian prune plums and sweet hyacinth are a perfect introduction to a flavor that reminds me of a marionberry scone fresh out of the oven.
