Knothead Carving, Small

A face seems to emerge naturally from the wood in this Small Ponderosa Pine Knothead Carving, handcrafted from an Oregon Ponderosa pine knot. The artisan works with the knot’s natural grain, curves, cracks, and rugged edges to shape an expressive face while preserving the character of the original wood. Each Knothead has its own personality and natural variations, making every carving a one-of-a-kind piece of Oregon wood art.

Display your Knothead on a mantel, bookshelf, desk, side table, or among other rustic and nature-inspired décor where the detailed face and unusual shape can be appreciated. Its woodland character also makes it a distinctive Oregon gift for woodworkers, nature lovers, collectors, or anyone who appreciates handcrafted Pacific Northwest art. Hand carved by Expressions in Wood.
