I recently tried huckleberry hot cocoa for the first time and found it to be a bit too sweet for my taste. I initially made it with milk, but I wouldn’t recommend that—it made the drink overly rich and heavy. It tasted much better when I made it with just water, allowing the unique huckleberry flavor to shine without being overpowered by the sweetness. If you’re a fan of sweeter cocoa, it might still be enjoyable, but for me, water was the better option.
