Misunderstanding drew disappointment

I didn’t understand the date delivered entry on the order form. I thought December 23rd was the date the gift box was to be received, but you intended it to mean that was the date it would be placed onto the truck for delivery. Consequently the Christmas guests missed out on the package. Its January 3rd delivery went to the host couple. Too bad. Perhaps a more clearly stated delivery date could differeniate between when it goes onto the truck and when it is expected to be recioeved.

We're so sorry for the confusion but we try to make it as clear as possible by specifying that the 'Future Ship Date is NOT delivery date. The date selected is when your order will be shipped from our warehouse'. This option comes in handy for many people wanting gifts to arrive in a certain time period to celebrate a holiday or event or to avoid arrival when when recipients aren't home to receive the items.
