Pendleton AICF Future of the Plains Wool Baby Blanket

Inspired by elements of the ledger drawings of Hunkpapa Lakota Great Plains chief and spiritual leader Sitting Bull, this wool blanket depicts horses and their tracks which to the Hunkpapa Lakota represented strength and serenity of the Plains Indians nomadic lifestyle. Pendleton continues Sitting Bull's mission to "put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children" and provides royalties from the sales of this blanket to the American Indian College Fund to continue Sitting Bull's mission to fight for future generations of Native Americans.
