Native American artist Lillian Pitt designed this Pendleton River People Wool Blanket in remembrance of her ancestors who inhabited the Columbia Gorge for centuries and called themselves the River People. Inspired by petroglyphs, this blanket design uses ancient images to convey daily life and the cycles of Columbia River salmon. Fully reversible and the robe size preferred by Native Americans for ceremonies and wrapping themselves for warmth. 82% pure virgin wool and 18% cotton and woven at Pendleton's Northwest Mills. Unnapped and felt bound. Style # ZE493-53058. Made in the USA. No sales tax! Beaver State.
