About The Winery
![]() |
For many years Montinore Estate has been one of the biggest proponents of Biodynamic* farming in the Oregon wine industry. Located West of Portland, in Forest Grove, the winery and beautiful tasting room sport an incredible view of the vineyards and the Valley below, and we love to taste and sip an afternoon away on their deck! Montinore produces several different white and red styles, including sparkling and dessert wines! *Biodynamic Farming was first introduced in the 1920s by Rudolph Steiner, and possibly the easiest way to describe it would be to call it “Organic Plus.” It means honoring the earth by concentrating more on the vitality and quality of the vines, and less on controlling disease and pests. Montinore has been certified Biodynamic since 2008. |
